A KML network link, which contains geographic locations for the 100 most recent, closed, non-confidential, 911 calls for service received by the City of Portland’s 911 system. When displayed in Google Earth, police and fire calls are displayed with distinctive symbols. This feed is updated every 30 seconds. |

Discussion
The KML network link seems like it would be helpful to emergency responders. Does this app send information to the data center services from all 911 calls? Have they been able to better route emergency responders by looking at the data on Google Earth? I wonder if this would be a good app for all emergency responders.
