The data only goes up to 2009 permits. What about more recent stuff? When will this be updated? Is there another place to see this information in any other formats?

This dataset is updated daily. The latest CSV file shows a timestamp of 4/6/2011 1:30am. Are you accessing the file via "Download Dataset"?

Can we get Latitude and Longitude columns in decimal format added to the data?

Bug report: this CSV is generated without escaping or doubling quotes that are inside fields. This leads to it not verifying properly. It looks like essentially all instances of this are '"Prepare "RFR""', which should be either '"Prepare \"RFR\""' or '"Prepare ""RFR"""' depending on the method chosen to escape quotes.

What are the criteria for what is included in this data set? Does it include every building permit the City of Portland has ever issued? Or every permit from the last 5 years, with some from previous years? Thanks!

The download contains all permits issued by the City in the last year. So, yes, every building permit. It's updated nightly, so it's always a one-year snapshot. Hope that helps! Working on a more complete permit history, downloadable as GIS data or accessible via an API.

Metadata link points to the Building Footprints metadata, not the Building Permits metadata.

I see this dataset is supposed to be updated daily but the dataset does not contain any permits from 2016. Can we get this going again -- We need this data!

Hello I'mm working with UCSC and doing work on parking spaces, is there another file which has more detailed permit data ie how many parking spaces are created? Also it seems that a lot of the permits are missing whether or not new parking is being added, is this the correct data to be looking for this information? Thank you in advance for all your help!
