There are thousands of recalls and notices issued by the FDA and other organizations. The problem is knowing which ones are relevant to the Portland area and you? Are there 911 calls coming in about certain types of dangers? SafetyRecall could list all FDA and other consumer goods recalls that local jurisdictions have flagged as possible threats in the region. The app could cross-reference with any product safety announcements in the Portland area, or simply indicate those products that are higher threats in the region.
